Jonny Walker Set for EnduroGP of Wales Wildcard Appearance
Triumph Factory Racing's Jonny Walker will make a wildcard appearance at the final round of the 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship, contesting the GP of Wales aboard the Triumph TF 450-E. The British rider will compete in the Enduro2 class at Triumph’s home round in Rhayader on 7-9 August, joining the EnduroGP team for the one-off outing.
Walker heads to Wales following a strong winter campaign in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship and is taking on the iconic Red Bull Romaniacs aboard the Tiger 900 Rally Pro this week. Alongside international races, the British rider has also competed in several sprint enduro events in Wales as part of his training programme, sharpening his skills ahead of his return to timecard enduro competition.
Before focusing on hard enduro, Walker was a regular competitor on the British and European enduro scene and even represented Great Britain at the 2011 International Six Days Enduro as part of the Junior Trophy Team. Now, he will line up alongside Triumph Factory Racing's full-time EnduroGP riders for one round only, racing the TF 450-E in the highly competitive Enduro2 category. With his SuperEnduro background expected to prove a major advantage in Friday evening's Super Test, Jonny will be aiming to make a strong start before two demanding days of racing across the Welsh hills.
The GP of Wales marks the seventh and final round of the 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship and takes place in Rhayader, Wales, from 7-9 August, with Friday evening's Super Test followed by two full days of world-class racing.

It's been a long time since I last competed in a timecard enduro, but it's a style of racing I've always enjoyed and I've got some good memories from racing the British and European Championships earlier in my career. It'll be great to ride the TF 450-E and join the EnduroGP team for the weekend, especially with how well they've been doing this season. Racing at home is always special, and getting the chance to line up at the team's home GP in Wales makes it even better. I'm looking forward to the Super Test too, as it should suit my riding style, so hopefully I can put in a strong performance on Friday evening and carry that through the rest of the weekend.”
